All the old Stovebolt engines took 5 qts. plus one for the filter. The best way to make sure the Canadian version is the same is drain it & put in 4 qts. & check the dipstick.

I dimly recall that my 1960 261 from a C60 school bus had an oil pan that was deeper in the rear, compared to my 1954 1/2 ton truck engines. Is that possible?
I also dimly recall that the oil dipstick was longer for/from that 261. Am I dreaming on this one, too?
I will try to look these up in a Master Parts Catalog.
