Master Brake Cylinder. Wheel Brake Cylinder, Brake Shoes and Adjuster Kit I sent to White Post Restoration for rebuild/overhaul.
The Wheel Brake Cylinder raceways/bores were all rusted and the pistons were stuck.
Now all the parts are back.
What can I say... The result is terrific. The parts look like new and make a great impression.
When I have everything reinstalled, there is a new state of affairs on the tightness 😊
It was not cheap, but with a restoration of such a large truck, the price is no longer important.
But now I need your help again.
The most important part is still missing.
When I bought the Chevy C60, year 1966, unfortunately there was no brake booster mounted.
I know this sits on the driver's side below the cab.
Can you guys please tell me which is the correct brake booster for my C60?
I have seen that there are brake systems with a vacuum reservoir.
Do I really need it?
Or is it enough classic:
Master Brake Cylinder via a line (Hydraulic)) to the Brake Booster (vacuum assisted) and from there (single circuit) via the distributor to the front and rear axle?
I look forward to your answers and a model designation of the Brake Booster and a matching check valve.
