The illustration does not show the elbow but it is probably a 1/4" or 3/8" pipe thread. This is the same as standard threads on water pipes. If you can determine what size threads it is, you can probably use an elbow for a clamp on heater hose or fuel line hose. We used 1/2" heater hose before. A check valve is a check valve and the same for the air cleaner. If you can get an elbow to screw into the booster with a hose size of about 13 mm it should work.
