I recently installed a 350 engine with a turbo 350 transmission in a 1956 short bed pick up. We had to cut the old engine/trans mount out to for the install to fit. My question has anyone performed this modification? Was it required to box that part of the frame to retain any frame support. We used the bolt in engine and transmission mounts.
