Hello,
I’m replacing the wiring harness in my 49 3600 and have found a discrepancy in the Jim Carter directions and the internet.
The instructions say to connect to the amp meter + terminal on the drivers side of the gauge.
The internet says the passenger side is the + terminal.
If you are looking at the back of the gauge, I have 2 posts on the amp meter. I’ll call them 9 and 11 o’clock. 9 is the back side of the C end of the gauge and 11 is the D end. My original harness has 2 wires on the 11 o’clock post and 1 on the 9 o’clock.
What is correct?
