Yeah, but I'm hoping to find that someone has already solved that problem. If not, my choices are to either use the side mounts (I've seen those kits) or design my own solution. I haven't gotten deep enough into it yet but it might be possible to fashion a plate that would attach to the bottom of the timing cover and spread out to fit on the 55 moto mounts. I'll have to think about this for a while. I have my 55 engine and when I can find the time I can break it down and mount it on a motor stand and rotate it upside down so I can see what would be required. It would have to clear the oil pan. There is plenty of room between the engine and the crossmember. I have an idea in mind that would use the three holes on the side and the front plate holes and have holes for the 55 mount posts. Don't think I'll solve this overnight.
