Is there a kit to swap a 58-62 truck 235 motor with side mounts into a 1955 with front corner mounts using the '55 motor mounts (bolts, bushings and washers) - not the side mounts. If there Is a kit that adapts an earlier 6 cyl to the 55 front mounts by using the front plate, why could it not be used to swap a 58-62 into a 55? You would have to drill two holes in the bottom flange of the front motor plate to be able to bolt up the kit to the motor plate. I've never seen such a kit but surely someone has thought of this.
