Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jun 2005 Posts: 168 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jun 2005 Posts: 168 | As stated above, the third members will swap between the housings. 3/4 tons had the option of 4.11 gears from '65-'67, and that changed to a 4.10 gear option from '68-'72. There's a good bit of them out there. I've found three in the last few years just paying attention to what's being sold in the yards and on marketplace. It's an easy procedure. You unbolt the axle shafts and slide them out about 6". Unbolt your driveshaft from the third member. Then unbolt and remove the third member. That third member is pretty heavy though.
