The truck is at my buddy's house in Florida (I live in Texas). I've bought it from him and he's going to trailer it to me when my garage is finally built. I'm getting anxious to get the truck and the garage construction is going to take longer than I expected. I may get the truck sooner since I'm impatient, but in the meantime I only have a few photos. The longer version of the story is that he purchased it about five or six years ago as a "retirement project" at that time he lived four doors away from me and I tried to buy it from him back then. In the past five years he hasn't touched it and finally decided to sell it to me since he knows I will get it running.
To my eye it is a 216 since the valve cover attaches to the engine via two nuts at the top and no visible nuts along its sides.
