| | | | Joined: Sep 2013 Posts: 1,362 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Sep 2013 Posts: 1,362 | I replaced the original clutch/pressure plate (old stock rebuilt pressure plate) in the '51, 3600 about 10,000 miles ago. For the past couple thousand miles I've been living with an aggravating shutter on take off. At the beginning, a year of so ago I did tighten the motor mounts and all was good for a while. But they're still tight and the shutter had got to go. Jim Carter supplied new motor mounts today. So after a trip to the car wash (yep, almost said car warsh) I'll tackle this pain in the tuckus project. I'll report on whether or not it helps.
