I'm working at the fire station for 48 hours so I can't get off duty until 8:00 AM Tuesday morning. I'll call Jeff Floyd on Monday to see how he wants to handle those who are willing to pick up the tires. I've been asked about "cash or check" and I didn't ask him when I last spoke with him. Sorry.
It seems that about 21 tires will be gone by those who plan to pick them up here. That would leave about 40 tires left. I'll post again on Monday when I can get Jeff on the phone.
And I am a career firefighter and a volunteer also in one of the local fire companies here in Virginia Beach. Virginia Beach has about 435 employees in the fire department and the Thalia Vol FD has 20 members but we are not allowed to respond to any emergency calls.
