A torch, a welder, and some steel plate can make that upper mount position any height you want. That's how Danforth did it. I was just given a complete IFS crossmember salvaged from a butchered-up stovebolt frame, and a set of S-10 lower control arms that I'm going to modify to suit my needs. It will be going into an Excalibur kit car powered by a hotrodded Chevy 230 6 cylinder. I'm also building a Can-Am style 2 wheel IFS for a Honda Gold Wing from GEO Metro parts.
