| | | | Joined: Apr 2007 Posts: 1,038 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Apr 2007 Posts: 1,038 | Perhaps the mast bearing/bushing is worn. This can be changed by pulling the steering wheel and the bearing is right at the top of the column. You have to unclamp the column clamp at the steering box as well as the dash clamp, and then pull up the column a few inches so the bearing clears the shaft.
