Well, if I put some slate in there and sat on that, I am sure it would ride harder than a cushion.
In other words, I am just trying to ease it a little. Dunno if springs are better than modern cushions. Mainly roads, not on farm I mean. I do like the look of the minivan seat you have there, in terms of originality!
