Found on way to work, a 49 4400 Chevy. Shined lights on it, to see at night. Looked pretty good, couldn't see inside too well. The seat wasn't even tore up, from what I could see. Looked pretty solid metal. On phone, owner says runs, drives and one rear wheel locks up when backing up. Has a five window cab too! Gonna check it out tommorrow. $1300 he says. If good, gonna get it. I miss my 54, wish I had kept it. But then will have to start all-over again with changes to make daily driver, durnnn! I'll let you know what I see in light of day! Hopefully I can say "I'm B-A-C-K!" again. Sure glad I gave up the old truck habit, NOT! Been driving my tilt cab 69 GMC now, with Diesel and just picked up an IH Cargo Star COE to work on too. It's a 75' model, "new", but far from a working truck now.
