Installing a new rockers set on the ~'53 235, and notice that one of them (just one) was machined a little off, so instead of hitting the valve stem dead on, it's off to one side:

I'm sure that's not ideal... But how bad is that really?

It's flush with the valve stem -- meaning the entire valve stem is touching the edge of the rocker. Just not centered on the rocker.
