OK, looks like you've got a badly machined rocker, then. I'd recommend trying to replace the one that's not aligned, since the oddball geometry will eventually cause some uneven wear. I see single rocker arms on Ebay occasionally, or you might want to make a post in the "parts wanted" forum here.
