I don't pay much attention to my gas gauge until it stops jiggling from sloshing. When that occurs, I have 30 miles to get to a gas station.
If I fail to notice when it stops jiggling and run out of gas, no worries. There soon will be a line of folks waiting in line to help me get back on the road. That is one of the perks of driving iconic trucks.
