When you use one of these filters the oil on the dipstick looks as clean as it comes out of the can. That has got to be good. Besides it is cool to pull it out & show it to someone like that.
You have to be careful of the lines though. If it is too close to the exhaust it can crack or burn. More engines have been damaged by leaking lines or filters then are saved by the oil filter.
