This is so you can raise the cushion/seat on the passenger side,unscrew the gas cap and fill the tank...which sits directly under the seat. This is the only model like this. Its not bad if you like riding on top of liquid dynamite  I finally gave in last week and agreed to relocate my tank just to suit the family!! | | |
