I had my 6.5 diesel on the stand and was worried as I was re-assembling it, engine weighs 600-700 lbs. I used my engine hoist to take some of the stress off, and was able to rotate it by myself with a 5 ft. pinch bar. I think it was a little more balanced that the straight six though.
