The Series/Model list that John put together for the Tech Tips page is very helpful, but I guess it would be neat to "automate" it.
There are lots of requests on the forum for engine identification, too. While there is much info on casting numbers on the web, I haven't found much good stuff concerning early 6 cylinder engine serial number prefixes (or suffixes). John did a brief list of those, too, but it's kind of limited as to exact ID (what the engine was originally installed in). Sorry, John
