I installed a new vacuum advance on my 54 235 truck engine .Prior to removing dist, made reference marks as to position of rotor,postion of dist itself, and postion of dist body when i removed the old vacuum advance. The problem that I have is installing the dist. It will drop down so far,but not flush with the block. The rotor feels tight and lines up pretty close as to where it was when removed. Did I do something wrong,or maybe the wrong vacuum advance? Any and all advise is welcome. Thank you
