All true, but if you have sheets of plywood, paneling, laminate, or anything that covers the floor you will have to unload to add gas.
A loaded bed is certainly a rarer issue than a filler cap located on a painted part of the vehicle such as fender or bed rail where any spilled gas results in damaged paint.
