Sorry for the delay in response. The crank was definitely machined and it has new bearings. I've noticed that number 6 has a different type of bearing which is strange. There is a groove down the centre of both bearing shells on the inside against the crank. All of the other bearings do not have that groove. Regarding the rods and reconditioning I would guess that they have been since the engine has brand new aluminum pistons. It only makes sense they would go that far since they've done everything else correctly.
