For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: May 2007 Posts: 226 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: May 2007 Posts: 226 | I’ve done a lot of reading in the search pages, but I haven’t seen a clear answer to the question of which cast iron rams horn exhaust manifolds if any will clear the stock 1957 Chevy 3100 steering box. I have a right side part # 3747038 which looks like it will work on the passenger side. I’d like to mount an alternator on the driver’s side. Can I use a manifold with no mounting brackets on the driver side and use a block/intake mount system for the alternator? My heads have no accessory holes. This is a 1964 327 in a 1957 Chevy 1/2 ton. I’m open to 2 1/2” or 2” inch collectors. Thank you, Larry | | |
