Is the engine dependable and strong enough to get you where/when you need to drive it?
If yes, why not just leave is as it is?
95% original is quite rare.

While you are enjoying your truck, get a 1954-63 235 (or 261) and rebuild it and safely/dryly store it.
A 1954/1955st truck engine would be the easiest to to swap in.

Almost all 1954 and later (high pressure) truck 235's had mechanical lifters.

1954 and later car 235s would be the next choice; however, they would have hydraulic lifters. Almost no truck engines had hydraulic lifters. Corvette 235s had mechanical lifters.

Some later car/truck engines have different motor mounts, but this is not an insurmountable reality (I will not call it a problem).
