Hello all

I am working and learning on my 1941 Chev 3/4 ton. I am currently working on the chassis and at the moment the front spring mounts.

I have had very little to do with threaded shackles. What is the best way to detect wear, or how much movement is acceptable. They are completely disassembled. I get a little bit of movement at one end of the pin and a very small amount of lateral movement. I don’t have a new set to compare.
