I bought my headliner last year, and have been dreading the idea to install it in the truck. Because by the reaction of others that have put theirs in their trucks. How long it took them to put it in, all the frustration etc.
Well, I finally got around to doing the job. And it only took me an hour to install it. And it is very simple. I don't ever have anyone help me do anything on my truck, I do it all myself. So first of all, I took both pieces of the headliner out of the box and unrolled them out out flat onto the floor. Make sure they are flat. Then I inserted the bow into both pieces of headliner. The side of the headliner that you won't see, that will be facing the inside of the roof, I used duct tape. Tape the two pieces to the bow. This will hold it all in place while you are moving it into the cab and in place to be screwed in place in the rear and in the front. Doing it this way makes it so simple to do. No swearing. It went so smooth.
