You could go exotic and find a longer rod and use a shorter piston (wrist pin higher in the skirt). This has been done on a few SBC's to get a longer throw. You need to be aware crankshft clearance as well as the rod and bottom of the cylinder walls. I'm sure that someone has done this in the past.
