I am building a 261 stroker with a built 848 head, stellite hardened exhaust valves, powerglide intake valves. The block is bored .050 over. The crank is offset ground to accomodate 292 rods. The pistons are standard size from a 365 v-8 from a early/mid 80s caddy. We still haven't decided on the cam but I'm leaning toward a clifford mild w/ high lift springs and hardened pushrods. Here is a link with info for your 235. http://www.inliners.org/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=3;t=000929 P.S. They are maybe a little low on that price. After all is said and done, I'll be in it for more than that and I'm doing all the fetching, cleaning, prepping, and polishing myself.
