Have not tried it on lines this small in diameter, but filling tubing with soapy water, then putting it in the freezer works, too. The ice keeps the tube from kinking.
I have used this successfully for making tight bends in 5/8" tubing. Have been told this process is used to make the bends for musical instruments, as well.
