Good idea. I looked for something laying around that might work, but everything I tried seemed to kink pipe when it was 60-70 degrees into the bend. Definitely couldn't get it to go past 90 to 120deg and then bend back.
One trick for doing tight bends is to fill the tube with sand. Of course, you have to get the sand out afterward, but it prevents kinking. For larger diameter tubing (plumbing connections to sinks for instance - back when they use to use solid brass tubing) a bending spring was used. The spring prevents flattening of the tubing, and also allows it to be pulled out. Don't know of anything similar for brake lines, though.
