In the picture showing down inside the housing, if you rotate one of the housings 180, they would look the same down inside. May not change anything, just mentioning it. Did you buy the Ebay switch housing or tumbler with key or all of it? Will the seller let you send it back? That's why I thought it was a vendor because you said you will send it back.
Anyway, can't comment on what is going on. Something is amiss.
