There are actually two ignition switches for AD trucks. One for 47-48 with the tab on the cylinder PN 1116452, and another for 49-54 without tab PN 1116464.
I don't know if there's a difference in how they work (that's the early switch in Dads50's video), or if the early one is even available as a repop. I can't see a real difference in Dads50's pictures of the switch bodies, other than the position of the cylinder removal plunger.
