| | | | Joined: Nov 2004 Posts: 2,402 Former Workshop Owner | | Former Workshop Owner Joined: Nov 2004 Posts: 2,402 | My '02 Silverado 2500 is very rusted and I'm considering on removing the 6.0 this coming spring and transplanting it into my Red '59 Apache. With the '02 already being rusted I thought I'd get at least one more winter out of it. My biggest concern is I whether I can use the automatic tranny as well. The Silverado has 4 wheel drive and the Apache does not. Haven't yet researched if the tranny can be modified for rear wheel drive only.
