The Stovebolt Site Forums The Shop Area Engine Shop Will 235 car head work on truck engine?

The date code on block is L 51.

I just took the head to shop for magnaflux to make sure its good - engine ran well until oil passage plugged up and spun rod bearing.
Will post head number when I get it back.
