I would say they are a snug fit. You have to be careful with the NOS or originals that you tighten them down equally, if you don’t the ears can break off, trust me on that. I used a sharp punch to locate the three screw holes and for the first hole for the arm, I then enlarged that hole carefully with an X-acto knife.
