Good evening fellow stovebolters. I have a question regarding the hood on my 1950 3800. The rear hood brace isn't attached to the hood anywhere except the center and very outer edge. Please see attached photo. Looking from the back and under side, there is a gap between the hood piece and the brace. Is this normal? Should it be spot welded to the brace? Thanks in advance...
