Jon, I do not recall seeing a complaint about RemFlex gaskets "gaskets breaking, cracking, blowing out".

Would please post a link to those threads (for use on 216/235/261 engines)?

I do not think that I have used a RemFlex gasket, but I have one for future use.

The 216 and early 235 engines are not "splash oilers" -- this is a splash oiler.
