Sharing my experience with Greyhound expresss shipping. Purchased 1941-46 fenders. Seller placed one each in cardboard box and we shipped Greyhound.
Package arrived crushed. Expensive fender ruined. flattened, creased. Sent in a claim for reimbursement with photo documentation Of box and fender, including email from Greyhound Agent who received package.
Claim denied. Out money and fender. Spoke to claims department handling case. Pulled photos. All he could say was - auto parts shipped at risk of owner.
So, for those considering Greyhound - know the risk. Ask shipper or seller to crate with wood frame. Otherwise- your experience will be heartbreaking. Everyone made out in the deal and got their money ... sometimes you can’t win for losing.

The kicker is - waiting 7 years to finally have some cash to buy these long awaited original steel fenders. Been pecking away at this other project for 7 years waiting for the day I could buy rear fenders and justify it. Set back.
