| | | | Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 2,098 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 2,098 | Someone may correct me but I believe that starting in 91 GM started using a 4L60E vs the 700R4 transmission. Which meant it was operated using the computer that operated the engine systems. The 700R4 (aka 4L60) does not use the computer controlled valve body. There are aftermarket wire looms available to use the throttle body and the later transmissions. Also some diagrams available to use the original wiring and required factory components. That block does not use a manual fuel pump, the casting is there but does not have provisions for a pump.
