And the good news for you is that the One-Ton Club's Ownership Committee met in special session and we were able to fast track your membership application. We are still waiting on your final application form (that 234-page form you should have received), DNA sample and fee, but I am very pleased to inform you that you have a really good shot at receiving the committee's recommendation for membership when your package is forwarded to the Executive Council for Membership Affairs for final review! Harrumph! So you should be relieved to not have THAT monkey on your back at least.
With the Membership Committee's recommendation for Membership Approval, you are then awarded One Ton Club "Interim Probationary Membership" status. With that in hand, you are allowed to purchase a truck. Whether or not you get to keep the truck depends on the executive council's final decision. Usually, with a good recommendation from the committee and all your paperwork and dna samples in order, there is a 75 percent probability we will grant you full membership... so feel free to make the buy worry free. If you fall into the 25 percent category (But I wouldn't worry about that. Much) we will be glad to help you find a forever home for the truck and happily give you a coupon good for a 10 percent discount in our gift shop in appreciation of your fostering a truck.
