I firmly believe nothing was done by chance, there's a reason you have a circle and not bars...could it be because your block was destine to be made for the resale/replacement market and the internals were more generic or different than one destine to go in a new truck? This may be one of those questions that never get answered because we collectors/historians never had a link to the foundry paper trail...
