I'm ready to install the oil filter option on my 53 truck with a 55' 235 stovebolt in it. I never really even thought about it until I was ready to put it on and realized that I have no information on where it is hooked up. This engine has a small hole in the head about halfway just where the oiler tube is under the valve cover. I'm sure that is the pressure side but where do I place the return line? Silly question to many I suppose but I have spent little time on 6 bangers and appearently didn't pay that much attention to the small things. Funny too is that of all the inliner info I have accumulated there is nothing at all about the optional dealer installed Fram filter.
I'm sure this will turn out to be one of those "it's so obvious you can't see it" deals and then I will feel like a dummy but that has never kept me quite before...
