Hey Mike B. Thanks for the info. I agree I believe its a truck engine also, I was able to get the cast date off the back of the engine F147, I was wondering where I can get the same suffix code you got to look up, could this small block still be a 427 engine made went its stamped and assembled in 67.
With the date code of 1967 I went back to my Chevrolet book and found "YW" was also used in 1967 for the same series trucks listed above
The book I'm looking in is titled "Chevrolet Illustration and Special Information Catalog" dated Oct 1, 1966
