olezippi is correct, you have a very rare 1967 Z-28 302 double hump head engine. According to legend Chevrolet put a factory 283 crank in a 327 block then changed the block casting number. I would ask if you want to sell it but, I could not afford it. I have one left going into a 54 3100 for a fellow and sold my fresh one for $31,250 less the GM cross log manifold. You have something there and maybe someone out there is looking for it so they can have a numbers matching Z-28. My two were taken out of a friends totaled 69 Z in 1969. 2100 miles and 1400 miles they spent 51 years in a motor barrel. This engine was only built in 1967 and used in 68 & 69. Originally made to compete in SCCA competition in the late sixties against Shelby 302, AMX 304 and Dodge 273. One H--- of a running engine and in my opinion the best race engine Chevrolet ever made and I'm not alone in this. Doc
