Just wash it. It took 73 years to get like that so the less you do to it, the better it'll be unless you're going to do frame off restoration and give it all new paint.
If you don't want to wash with soap and water, use a detail spray and a micro fibre cloth.
You'd be surprised how shiny the paint will get by just washing it.
