Just read in the VCCA magazine of a fellow Bolter, Joe Fuchs,"6cylindersovertexas", passed away in September.

On one of our road trips Victoria and I had the opportunity to have lunch, and spend the evening, with him and his wife Rhonda. Joe was once a DJ and certainly a lover of country music, a builder, and other talents.

I first got acquainted with Joe when talking to him back in the 90's after I had acquired a 37 Chevy pickup. I had
noted that he was the technical advisor for the 37/38 pickups in the VCCA club. As a Stovebolter Joe was always willing to help anyone needing it. We enjoyed many conversations over the years.
On our visit we enjoyed seeing his 37 pickup in person. I believe he owned it about 30-40 years and I remember it once graced the cover of the VCCA magazine Generator & Distributor.

Rest in peace Joe, you will be missed by many.
