I agree with Wrenchbender, why not try a Petronic's unit that will
adapt to your stock dist. & I would change the plug wires...
Try looking under the hood @ night (w/out light) & see if
you can see any plug wire "arching" to the block / frame etc.,
if so, you need plugs wires...
